Re: Huntsham playday nov 8th 2009
Good to meet everyone - all home safe and sound I hope?
It was just a bit of a proving day for me...pays to have free wheel hubs that actually engage (fixed after the first 30 mins spent in 2WD) + need bigger boots on the truck !
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and spent a bit of quality DIY time with Ian !
The site has gotten a bit more rutted, but my previous LWB zook used to get around most of it...
Anyway, the few pics I took and it was pretty wet in there.
Nigel.

nige, got home safe, thanks all your help today, if it hadnt been for your thinkin & patience i think i'd still be puttin it back together now
shame i didnt put a bit more effort into tryin to get that drive shaft out previously but hey, a valuable lesson learnt! i suppose my luck of comin away from huntsham fairly unscaved over the years had to come to an end
i think mine will be stood up for a while while i sort a few things out

Think i can speak for all the GL's in saying thanks to Neil for a great day out and well worth the trip up.
I've got plenty of pics and i'll post some up as soon as i get a chance.
couple of bits of damage today but nothing expensive.
Just a small mention for Maff who ran out of fuel at the petrol station on the way home!!!
